The primary aim of this in-house training course is to ensure that the Banksman Slinger / Signaller understands and complies with the relevant Health and Safety Regulations. This course complies with the Health and Safety Approved Code of Practice.

  • Current Legislation (Inc. LOLER 98)
  • Understanding the Roles of a Slinger Signaller
  • Pre-Use Inspections of Lifting Accessories
  • Slinging Angles & Techniques, WLL & SWL
  • Load Movement & Effects to Lifting Equipment
  • Calculating Safe Working Loads
  • Hand Signals (As per BS7121)
  • Handling Loads of Various Weights & Dimensions
